itunes question
hey i hear that its possible to set up an account on itunes without entering a credit card number therefore having a free account... have any of you done this/heard about this before? my question is can i purchase apps from the apps store on my iphone even tho i didnt enter a credit card? where would the app be charged to? or can i just go on a purchasing rampage from my phone and get eveything for free?

I just made mine off itunes last year, there used to be an option for you to make non credit card accounts I don't know where it went anymore, neither do my friends, I share it with them though since theres no credit card, it's safe?

Another related question. I have an iTunes account. I found a person who's selling an iTunes gift card on CL. 35 bucks for 50 dollar card. I'm going to insist on loading it right there and then on my laptop (enter code). Any other precautions I should take?

if you jailbreak your iphone. you can get every app on the app store for free anyways..
just google "appolous"
or get installous.
