Does ICBC cover stereo system wiring?
Long story short, got jacked up and the fucking thieves cut my 4 gauge wires. Does ICBC pay to get my wiring redone? Since you cant technically cant bolt down or steal wires its more like damage.
So just wondering ifa claim actually states for wiring to get done or does the shop do it themselves and just charge? thanks

Well labor and wires is roughly about 120,150 because since theyre cut they need to be completely rewired again, no?
And that money is what I wish to save since ICBC already didnt cover my system that got jacked because they said it wasnt sufficiently bolted down.

wouldnt hurt to try. always good to keep your reciepts but with wires u can cut them and they still work, maybe it wont reach that far anymore, depends on whats on the end of your wires i can understand, like if it has component ends or something

Yes covered up to maximum $1000 for all parts, labour, equipment, taxes. UNLESS you bought specialty insurance for your stereo.
Must be properly installed before they'll insure it.
If your sub box/amp wasn't bolted down to the chasis of the car ICBC will not cover you.
All repairs/parts must be on the claim. If it's not stated in the claim then they're not insuring it then it comes out of your pocket.

I do not see anywhere on the claim about my sub wiring so I guess it means they dont cover it? i guess I will need to talk to my estimator and work something out.
