Places that sell grass fed poultry/beef
So far I only know of one place in the lower mainland (drive organics). anyone else know of places that stock this?

uh... from the Hopcott meats FAQ:
"What do we feed our cattle?
Our cattle are fed a specially formulated vegetarian diet of the cleanest and highest quality grown grain and a mixture of our own corn silage, grown on Hopcott Farms, and hay ."

All cows in NA are grain fed.. if you want grass fed, you have to go with Australian / NZ.

Let me get this straight? Just because the cow is raised in 100 mile house, it has to be grass fed? We have tons of grains and it brings cows to market quicker. 100 mile house is a major center for cattle ranching.. you don't expect cattles in huge numbers in GVRD right?
No where on WF's webpage that it mandates its organic cows have to be grass fed:
Cattle/Buffalo
* No antibiotics — ever
* No supplemental growth hormones
* No animal byproducts in feed
* Range raised for at least 2/3 of the animal's life

Nobody is saying that all the beef at Whole Foods is grass-fed. they are suggesting that you should look there first for grass-fed beef.

NO last time I bought grass fed beef I asked where it's from...and they said 100 Mile House
Not all organic beef is grass fed so before you buy, make sure it says GRASS FED
