check for collision repairs on both of them.

Probably something wrong with the 99, and the 97 is overpriced.

hmmm. i have a 96' Black RS five speed with 196k's on it if ur interested. clean title, nothing over $2000. body is as clean as it gets actually. no front end or rear end collision. beefy tread on high performance FM901's. new clutch, new motor (blew the old one)
its currently turbo charged.. but going to put car back to stock if ur serious. haha

Keep in mind the general Vancouver market always seem to be priced higher than Kelley Blue Book even after currency conversions. Go for the GS if the history and inspection looks good.

the options on the GS make it worth it, that is if it's clean
the RS is overpriced like already stated
