Could you find a better choice? (laptop 500$ range)
http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/produ...1301aa1bd5en02
http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...ptopfeaturi-en
which one is better? is there a lot of difference between core i3 330m and t6570?
3mb cache vs 1mb cache.
does cache make a lot of difference in performance?
i only use my T7500(4mb) for 3+years now and dont know what other numbers relate to speed anymore. anything in the 500$ range seems to be 1mb cache. and cache seems to be the main difference in price
a laptop for business + video watching/streaming.
no gaming
was hoping for 500$ + tax. below 15", above 11"
for these tasks, do u guys think i can go below 500$? core solo can do the job?
any ideas?
thanks

ive decided to go with the more budget friendly
http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/produ...e6c26874e1en02
its about 80$ cheaper than the MSI, and it rocks a dedicated video card.
an Intel version for this exsits but it only has an integrated vid card.

Why do you want a dedicated card? You specifically said no gaming. An Intel card will usually have better battery performance.

oh... forgot about how card kills battery hmmmm oh well...
battery performance wasnt a big deal cuz it will be rarely used on the go.
also my inner voice kept saying, dedicated video card, video card.. lol even though its for my mom.
