What are you planning to do with your B.A.?
To those who've graduated with a BA or planning to do so, what are you doing? Where are you working or where do you plan on working?
I'm heading into my last year of economics at sfu and I'm still fairly clueless as to what I could do after I grad. Any insight from other B.A. students would be great!

Have you specialized in any way...? You should look into co-op and talk to your advisors so you don't get stuck with a piece of paper and no job.

With a BA, you need to have a plan and specialize in something. Without specializing in something, employers won't take you as seriously as someone who has.
Like someone mentioned, do some co-op's and put your economic degree into action. Maybe start working at a bank, insurance or financial company. If those things aren't your cup of tea, do some co-ops and see what you like. Specializing would mean something like doing a CA or CGA etc etc.
If you can, start working on these things now, and not closer to graduation. The sooner you know which way you want to go, the easier it will be later.
My two cents.
