"Portrait shots" need ideas on locations!!
Hey guys,
Within the next couple of weeks I will be looking for several locations to shoot portrait shots of two young women in costume play.
So far I have thought up of Queen Elizabeth park(several other parks also), near the seawall Stanley park, Canada place west building, the building across from General hospital, and maybe a cemetery??
Wondering if anyone has ideas on a location with lots of flowers and a place with a rusty gate for a sunset shot.
All opinions/ideas are appreciated!
Thanks,
Shin

There's a small park with a gate, some flowers and plants in New West on Columbia, next to the Starbucks. It was early spring when I went by there so nothing had bloomed yet. You can also try VanDusen or the UBC botanical gardens. I don't know if they have any gates there.

Can you provide a rough address to that location?

There's photos up on there. It's in between the Starbucks and the church.
