Obviously we are linked to a global economy. We're part of a global group of countries too.
As long as political power directly proportional to economic ability, we will be able to smooth out and global economic peaks and valleys.
I've been laid off 2x due to the econ, but it'd be a lot worse if we shared our dollar with the americans.
Also, in the event of a boom, you think we're going to see that money?
Not really, that gets smoothed out by our ridiculous taxation rate.
Hey Harper, I'm pretty far right, probably further than you.
But while we're looking at "overhauls", why don't you look to some other leftist countries with free health care and make ours as effective and efficient first.
The HST is a good step forward, but your implementation sucked.
