whats were you settins?
mine was 1/30 seconds, F4.8, iso 1600, manual focus to infiniti
equipment (Nikon D40, 18-200mm F3.5-5.6)
i imagine ur shutter speed to be alot slower? haha.. will try to do what you did on sat i guess.. nice nice
umm no, haha, I had a remote set up, so the only diff that i made was turn on the camera when it started, hence all the images are taken from the exact same perspective... sit back...and watched it with my friends while i just clicked madly on the remote LOL =.=

Do f8, bulb, ISO100, infinity focus. And then use a black piece of paper to cover the lens in between explosions.

I focus on infinity, or slightly in front and I usually shoot at around 2-4 seconds @ f8 or f11, ISO 100. The equipment used was a Nikon D300 + 400mm f2.8. I usually have two camera going, one with a telephoto and the other with a wide angle.
