Not online, but I have heard this school's classes are great for beginners. They have a 2 hour course for $50, or a 6 hour $150 beginner's DSLR course which isn't too bad, and you get hands-on learning instead of watching a blurry Youtube video with bad audio.

Highly Suggest reading the book called Understanding Exposure
you can get it in chapters, this book is like the bible to all photography and most people begin from this book~
