looks like the same issue my sony tv had, but mine was a blue haze... optical block failure...
sony should warrant that!

any chance you bought it with your credit card in the last 2 years? You should look into extended warranty.

Actually I just called emailed Sony about this. And theyre giving me a replacement tv for a discounted price
