Venue recommendations for my buddy's stag
Looking for recommendations on a good venue for my buddy's stag. Years ago Maverick's nightclub in Burnaby had a back room that could be reserved for private functions. No cost was involved other than a promise to spend the rest of the night in the club, after the "entertainment" was done. I'm an old fart now so I was just wondering if anyone knows of something similar? I'm not expecting something free but I do want a decent venue (most likely a club / bar) and privacy so nobody walks in on the entertainment.
The only one I've canvassed so far is Fortune Sound Club in Chinatown. It costs $250 to reserve the room (including free cover charge for 15 ppl) and a minimum of $450 must be spent by the end of the night (roughly $30 / person). Pretty good deal but the only problem is, I might have more than 15 ppl attending.
Thanks in advance..

A stag in Van is the worst!!!
At least hit Whistler if you must be local.
If you need a place for the "entertainment" rent a hotel suite

Unfortunately, I have no say in the matter. It must be held in Vancouver.

This site is pretty good for what you guys need.
Some require multiple night reservations while others can do 1 night.
