Youtube Downloader.
The google chrome extension has expired or taken off. What other programs are there to download youtube video/audio? looking for hard to find music/videos for projects / educational purposes. Anyone has one that's still working?
Also are there suggestions what to type for those blog sites that just share files? I forgot what i was supposed to type in google. Something... $$$$$$$$$$ (File name here) or similar... thanks.

I usually google 'youtube to mp3' if i just want audio. But if i want the whole HD video, i'll use 'Jdownloader'. Just copy the youtube video link, and it will appear in the program for you to download.

So many options...
www.keepvid.com
kickyoutube.com
I personally like using a standalone program called YouTubeDownloaderHD. You can set it to download the 1080p version, and if it's not available it will try downloading the next highest quality version until it finds one.
