Just got ours too. The canon 35mm f1.4 has a smoother bokeh, they both have similar sharpness but the Nikon may have slightly less chromatic aberration.

I only got it this afternoon. Haven't gotten time to do any serious testing.
Initial impression:
Focus is dead on with my D700. The weight is a bit heavier than what I'd like it to be, but oh well. 67mm filter is pita, but I bought a Hoya HD UV for it and a step-up ring for it to use all my 77mm filters.
Bokeh is nice. But I find the vignette to be rather strong. I'll double check if it's lighting condition I have later, was able to take 10 shots out of it today.

Haha... awesome. Do post a side by side comparison between 35G and 35L if you can Senna.

I got the lenses mixed up. The Nikon 35mm f1.4 has the smoother bokeh.

Canon 5DmkII + 35mm f1.4L:

Nice score! The more I play with my 50mm 1.4, the more i want to also get the 35mm 1.4 too! =)
