unlocked Telus BB Tour can't detect fido or rogers network
I have an unlocked BB Tour from Telus, but when I plug in a Fido simcard and switch the network preference to GSM, it does not detect anything.
I checked the MPED screen and network shows "inactive", which is what it should show for unlocked BBs, right?
Can someone please shed some light? Thanks in advance!

Network will say "Disabled" if it's unlocked so I'm gonna say your BB Tour ISN'T unlocled.

It is unlocked, got it work finally....didn't know I had to choose "2G", as opposed to "3G".
My next question is though...it shows its roaming, but I'm at home. Is it because it was built to be mainly a CDMA phone, and now its running through on a sim card? would I get charged roaming rate because of this?
