Canadian women are getting fat

The research finds Canadian women are indeed lagging behind the heavyweight champion of the wealthy world. But women in this country now have some of the highest average body mass indexes.
BMI over 25 is considered overweight and the average index for Canadian women as of 2008 was 26.7.

We're pretty fortunate that most people in the Lower Mainland are somewhat health conscious and that we're spared the sight of what's happening in other parts of the country. If you travel outside of the Lower Mainland, you definitely see this happening.

The avg is BMI is 26 which is probably that high because some girls are like over 9000 BMI.
But, I believe that the BMI is full of shit because I can tell you right now I would look like a stick if i was at the suggested 180lbs at 6'3" (BMI would be 22.5)

I know way more men that have let themselves go to shit than women.
Ironically the guys who could stand to loose 50-75lbs don't see any problem with bitching about the girls who could stand to loose 10-20lbs.

Its a pretty common trend. I cant think of any of my buddys who dont eat nothing but garbage. And only 1 that goes to the gym every so often. No food with any colour in it, just beige. Maybe a pub salad once and a while. Some people just dont understand the "two way street" idea.
