Exporting photos back into SD card
Hey guys,
This may be a stupid question but I recently had to remove some of my previous shots that I had saved on a SD card to make more room for a video I had to shoot that day.
I have been thinking of ways to export the photos back onto the SD card, I was successful as to exporting the original CR2 file. Therefore, making it viewable from the camera.
What I want to know is...there a way to export re-sized images or a way to shrink the file size and still have it viewable on the camera display playback?
TIA,
Shin

I just want them viewable on my 450d or on a canon digi-cam...just as a way of inspiration without taking up too much memory space.

^ I dont understand what youre trying to do?
You can just drag the resized files back into the folder on the memory card and view from there. Just make sure its in the same directory.
Theres no reason you need to export them as raw. Just drag the JPEGs you want back into the folder.
Unless youre talking about something completely different from what im thinking. Lol.

I've done it before, long time ago though - some photos don't show up properly. They definitely don't show up if you have rotated them on your computer - they need to stay as landscape. I can't remember if anything else affects it.

I shoot raw...I don't want to drag them back in as a RAW file...since it is such a big file size...I want to shrink the file size and get these images back into the card...but I have had no luck...if I shrink the image via PS ...it is not viewable by my camera playback...
