HDMI setting on computer monitor
finally I got myself a HDMI. I switched from using VGA to HDMI and I am really disappointed.
so my questions are:
1)
am I suppose to see a dramatic improvement in the quality of the pictures when I surf through Revscene?
I haven't tried watching any HD movie yet, but I can already notice a decreased in sharpness by just surfing through RS.
2)
when I'm in D-sub, the whole monitor screen is used to project images at resolution 1920X1080. However, when I'm in HDMI (1080p), not the whole screen is being used. I even used overscan to use more of my monitor screen in HDMI mode, but still there is still some used screen space.
Is this normal? This is my first time using HDMI on my monitor.
