Does anyone know how to format the CDFS partition in a USB Drive?
I got a 2GB usb drive for free but it has 752mb of crap loaded onto it as a CDFS partition. This makes my comp treat it as a CD and will autoplay some bullshit everytime i plug it in. Which means I really only have 1.2 GB of usable storage.
Does anyone know how to remove this partition and format the whole thing so I can use all 2GB of it?

Try going into Windows Disk Management.
Depending on your version of windows... Windows 7 - it's Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management
and there should be a thing on the left for Disk Management. You should be able to see all the partitions of all the drives on your computer.
Delete All Partitions, then create new one...?

if that doesn't work make a gparted live cd or usb stick and boot off from it, it handle any type of partition and filesystem

Actually, I dug up info on these CDFS bootable USB drives and it turns out its a pain in the ass to reformat it to use the full capacity again. It involves cracking open the case to find the memory chip model # and reflashing the damn thing. Otherwise, you cannot reformat and partition the CDFS portion of the drive. You can only reformat and partition the chunk of memory thats recognized as mass storage (1.2gb in my case)
I gave up and chucked it in the garbage.
God damn cheap ass ebay drives.
