Thread for anything that involves a guitar + drums
Seems everyone here listens to either hip hop or electronica. Nothing wrong with that, but this is a thread for people who listen to real music. Jking. This is a thread for anything rock and the derivatives of rock. Such things include, but are not limited to:
Country, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, guitar virtuosos, Punk Rock and its sub genres, Metal and it's sub genres, Blues , Jazz, etc.
I started playing guitar when I was 18 and was serious from 20-23, but just doodle around now. My favorite bands are:
Opeth, Thrice (old Thrice), Alexisonfire (hey man they were cool when I was 17), RHCP, Killswitch Engage, All that Remains, All Shall Perish, Sublime, Type O Negative. I mostly focus on harder rock to listen to, but I also like the blues stuff from the legends, i.e Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix, SRV.
I enjoy easy listening like Marie Digby, Jason Mraz, the acoustic stuff.
More NorthAmerican music. I love OLP. Slipknot is a favorite along with Linkin Park, Metallica, GOB, THRICE, FINCH, QUEEN, NIRVANA, FOO FIGHTERS..yea...
