I always look forward to these stats...look up your politician, professors & dean etc
Seems to be based on 2009 stats. Only those over $75k are reported.

Hope you guys realize that just because doctors make alot of money as a GP, it just means they are spending less time per patient. So chances of you getting a proper diagnosis the first time are questionable. Of course if you have to come back then they can ding you twice or more, why do you think doctors give such small prescriptoins?

My surgeon makes 670k, and my family dock make close to 500k.

The doctor gets paid by the government on a per visit basis. You are paying your doctor with yours and our tax dollars.

Doctors can only see a maximum of 50 patients per day and still be paid 100% for the patients they see. There's only so much advantage they can milk out of it by cranking through patients.

Doctors make a lot of money? Well, go become one.
I used to be pissed about politicians getting paid well and getting an awesome retirement package and benefits. No thanks. I'm not into selling my soul to the devil and prostituting myself by kissing ass and ugly babies.
