FS: 1977 Yamaha RD200 *Sold!*
Hi folks,
I have for sale a 1977 Yamaha RD200 motorcycle. This is a 2-stroke twin motor with an auto-lube system.
Bike has 6800km (yes, you read correct) and is in excellent running condition. Carbs were adjusted, cleaned as well as cables adjusted and lubed. New battery put in last week. Brakes are in working order with new pads and shoes as well as a fresh oil change and spark plugs. 5-speed gearbox is as good as new. Chain adjusted and sprocket still in great shape. Brand new front and rear tires - Duro (front) and Bridgestone BT45 (rear.) Rear suspension could use a rebuild but is ok for learning/city riding.
Overall condition of the bike - has a few scrapes and scuffs here and there like any 34 year old bike would. This bike would be great for a new rider and is easy to maintain. This bike offers an extremely comfortable riding position with the performance of a 2-stroke 200cc motor. Do not underestimate this bike - it is fast! Eligible for collector plates through ICBC. Insurance is cheap already!
Asking price is $1300 or your best offer. You must have at least a Class 6L in order to operate this bike legally.
