Stunning Watches for low low prices (around $20-40)
Alias Kim -> AK Homme
anyone have any experience with these watches? saw a few youtube videos and they claimed to look like the pictures, automatic, durable, and don't feel cheap.
they are selling off of ebay shipped to your door for $20-40 and look absolutely stunning:
thoughts?

Does the chrono even work on a watch like that?

First off. They are chinese made. They look cool to the naked eye, but look up close and under a loupe and you will see significatly lower quality of the workmanship in engraving/finishing compared to the swiss brands. Not sure what rate results you can expect from them either.
The third and fourth picture, has chrono button pushers, but as you can clearly see from the subdials, it does not have a chrono function (look like day/date/24hr functions). The fifth one, trying to make it look like a tourbillon. Having said that, a decent chinese tourbillon will still set you back close to $1000
However, for the price point, might be worth picking one up just as a fun piece.
