New gym routine (looking for advice)
So I've been going to the gym pretty regularly - like 3-4 times a week for 60-90 min. each time.
I usually do 15-20 min cardio, then work out a specific area (legs, bi's/tri's, chest/back) and end with another 15-20 cardio.
I'm looking for some suggestions as to a better routine to drop more weight. Currently I'm seeing myself bulk-up and become stronger, but I'd some suggestions as to what I can do to vary my routine without having to shell out $$ for a personal trainer.
What's worked for you guys?

wait what? do you want to bulk up, or trim down? if you want to bulk, follow a 5x5 routine, keep isolating your muscles, and for trimming down, increase your reps, if i were to tone down, ill do at least 10 reps per set of average weight, check bodybuilding forums for routines, keep doing compound works out, such as deadlift, squats, pull ups, push ups etc.

Squats + deadlifts
Push yourself hard
You can get better results without spending 90 minutes in the gym.
Under 30 mins if you're really working without too many breaks
Most of the time I'll be dead tired walking from the gym to my car

Start swimming. Best exercise there is. Total body workout. Builds muscles and does cardio all at the same time. 30 mins in the pool doing lengths 2-3 times a week and you'll notice fast results.

ummm you do realize to bulk up/achieve maximal hypertrophy, you should generally be looking at minimum 8 reps. and the whole high rep= tone and low rep=size is umm... wait, how old are you?
