Yea i'm starting to find these stories a bit unbelieveable. It's always some lower tier guy losing billions and nobody knows? How f*** does that happen? If I have two cigs during my break people will notice. This guy loses two billion.

rogue trader my ass. in order for such a large transaction to be made on the exchange an incredibly high margin would be needed, which is most likely provided by the company >.> a cheque for a margin that big could not have gone unnoticed without executive officers knowing wtf was going on

unless they made the same mistake where back office is mixed with front office. lol that's the basic rule, to seperate front and back offices.
