cheap+good surveillance cameras?
can someone recommend me a system? idk who it is but cars in my driveway have been getting vandalized and im tired of it, so i wanna catch the shit turds and teach them a lesson
so far my search has led me to Lorex Surveillance System (LW2311F) : Home Security - Best Buy Canada dont know what im actually looking at but it seems good?
also a lil off topic, if i catch the culprit how much force can i use? say, can i punch the guy in the gut? im pretty sure its a lil kid so i dont wanna be doing any actual bruising. car windows been smashed and another car got spray painted on

No more than a citizen's arrest...don't want assault charges because you were teaching some kid a lesson.

no, that's considered assault. Beating the shit out of the person is something we would love to do, but we cant.
only thing you can do is put him under citizen arrest and hold him till cops come.

I just don't get how people put " cheap" and " good" together in one sentence....
You can only get one or the other.
You want good quality, you gotta pay.
You want a cheap system, don't except much other than a VGA webcam quality.
