Did u mean dynamat? More for audio setups though. Any audio shops has them, even best buy.

What's the cause of the excess heat? Stock little motor with stock paint on the hood isn't going to have issues. So what have you changed?
Btw my old Prelude hood steams in the rain, never been an issue
