UBC Summer Session
Hey,
So I got admitted to summer session at UBC, and I was wondering once I finish the summer session, do I continue onto the winter session? I would assume that I would, but some of my friends said I wouldn't because it's just summer school and UBC only admits people for winter session.
Thanks

A buddy of mine from Ivey took just Econ 101 and Econ 102 at UBC during the summer session, and went back to Ivey in September.. I think they do only admit people during the Winter.. But you should definitely call the UBC Registration Advisors to be sure, as they're the primary source you should trust.

Yeah, I know a few friends who have done the same. They're back in Vancouver for the summer so why not. Pretty much just summer school...just have to make sure the credits will transfer over and have the school approve of you taking courses at another university

Yes you do continue. You're basically just ahead of the pack with extra credits. A lot of students in every year (undergrad and grad) do summer school to make their winter sessions easier or because of lacking credits.

UBC admits in the Winter Semester and the Summer Semester (that's what an advisor told me). You can always email the faculty of arts and see what they say though!
