fried remote for Mazda Tribute 2008
I left my remote in my pants and threw them in the wash... tried using the key without blow drying and it probably fucked it up....
coincidently, there's only one key hole on the driver's side and that's fucked as well!
Now I can't get into the car at all. What can I do?

open up the key, take the battery out. let it dry in a bowl of uncooked rice
wait a day or two and hope for the best. it works for a lot of water damaged phones

cut a 1 or 2 wedges out with 4x4s.. pound them into the side of the door and use a long disassembled hanger to open the door. That's how tow truck guys open locked doors.
