Probably because you were trying to post in someone elses buy and sell thread, which you are no longer allowed to do. Best bet would be to PM the original poster of said thread with your questions.

or if you were trying to post in members journal i believe you have to have been a member for a year + (which you have) but you also need 500 posts. You may have been a member for a long time but i guess you havent "contributed" enough with 2xx posts :P but im assuming you're mostly referring to buy n sell threads
