omg another help me build a computer thread!
current desktop is out dated and all parts are 7+ years old. still running MOST games fine, but looking to upgrade.
sort of budget gaming desktop. under $1000
i've looked around for parts on sale/cheap. i'm interested in some builds you guys can come up with - more bang for your buck essentially.
something along an i5 and up. neither an intel or amd fan boy.
don't care for SSD, unless it's a sweet deal. i don't need ALOT of storage space, anything over 500gb should suffice. of course i wouldn't turn down more if it doesn't eat too much into my budget.
please list parts from LOCAL stores. don't feel like shipping anything, i'd like to pick up parts and build it the same day :P
tia
