Basically it's the media player that will play anything you throw at it.
Perfect if you have a loads of video on your computer that you want hooked up to your TV full time. It will even play full dvd and blu ray rips with full navigation and viewing options (audio, sub-titles, special features, etc), perfect for someone with a massive collection of discs wanting to put them into a huge library.
Network connected as well so downloading torrents straight to the system is a breeze once attached to your home network.
