Is there such a forum?
Is there such a forum for local home owners/renter to discuss renovation, contractors, city housing regulations and stuff?
Obviously I know RevScene has this sub forum... but I am just wondering if there is a more specialized forum there..?

hmmm I tried googling, but the returns are more like for specifically finding a contractor (not really a forum), or real estate market (like talking about investment other than owning or maintaining).... the BC Homeowners Forum seems quite dead too... I am quite suprised..

BTW, I did a more general search (not as localized) and came up with quite a bit: https://www.google.ca/search?q=home+improvement+forum
Other than things like local tenancy laws and building codes, or climate-specific building issues, probably find some good stuff in some of these links: https://www.google.ca/search?q=home+improvement+forum
First three hits in particular look pretty solid.
