All Whitecaps talk here.
Who's going to the game on Saturday? I'll be there, but sadly, Henry and Cahill won't be for NYRB. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the new midfield in action though!

With this being a World Cup year and interest in the Canucks at an all-time low, I think the Whitecaps have a real opportunity to be the number 2 professional sports team in the market. The Lions have their market, but growth is pretty limited. Football/soccer is an international game and the number of temporary residents/foreign students from Latin America, the Middle East, etc. is an untapped market for the 'Caps.
If they can play attacking football, BC Place should be rockin' a few nights this summer.

I'll be there Saturday (I volunteer though), and it looks like Robbo did a great job in fixing that midfield. All that South American flair will be good once they get used to the physicality of the MLS.

Also, if you or a friend has a BMO card, Gate A has this line where it's usually faster to get in because it's exclusively for those card holders- if you have a group, only one person needs the card. hook ups available if you arrive early (do the coin toss/upgrades for couples). That's over at Gate A and I usually run it when I'm there on game days.
