Does RS seem faster to you?
We're running things though Google's servers now (basically it sits between our server and you, and speeds everything up)
It is sure a lot faster for me, but that could be mostly the CDN at work (with static resources being sent through a server that is closer to me).
But overall it's pretty damn fast I gotta say. This service is free for now, I wonder how much they will charge later?

I could tell the difference before you even made this thread. It loaded the forums without that lag I was used to. It is definitely faster.
edit; even posting this post was super quick. I'm definitely liking this upgrade!

Yeah I enabled it a few days ago. Also using it for some other sites. It's pretty incredible! I bet it really helps rankings too 
Now we can look into moving to a new host that is faster but cheaper, and a bit further from Vancouver. After that, we can look into upgrading the forum software finally

I've been noticing lag caused by the google ads not loading
no clue as to why that is though or if it still exists as it wasnt a pervasive issue

the forums thinks i'm searching when I go to the home screen with all the threads listed cuz when I click on "new posts", it tells me to wait 10 seconds.

it is fucking slow as balls for me. it wouldn't let me view my thanks. even once the web page was fully loaded, pictures would not show up when i would scroll down for a few seconds then randomly pop up. and embedded videos and links no longer show up for youtube.

1) Make sure adblock is disabled. You should be doing this anyway (thanks!)
2) If anything other than Multi+ is broken, clear your cache and try again. AFAIK that's the only thing not working yet.

I find a problem has started occurring the past few days where I hit "NEW POSTS" and it appears to load twice (so quick it is unnoticeable) and causes the message of needing to "wait 10 seconds before searching again" to show up. Happens half of the time I click it.
