Free proxies are horribly unsecured, I would never send critical data across them (such as your name, address and credit card.
Just sign up for PIA for $3.33 per month. You'll find it to be very useful for a lot of things, it's just one of those things that is handy to have access to. They keep no logs, and you will practically have full speed internet through it. In fact a lot of the time it's faster for me to use their Singapore VPN rather than my direct connection, especially when browsing to US sites.
