Animagraffs - supercharger vs turbo
Just thought this might be educational for some of you RS'ers. It definitely helps having a visual. The link shows how a turbo and a supercharger work with animations. The pictures can be rotated.
Supercharger vs. Turbo - Animagraffs
They also have another animagraff for a car engine.

In my last couple of cars I notice that I'm getting pinging using the recommended fuel grade (87) and it mostly goes away when I move up to the next grade.
I'm wondering if ethanol content is a factor in here. I've also heard that ethanol can be mixed in at the tanker or at the station. Are we getting a consistent mixture?

Ethanol is never mixed at the station. What type of gas does the manufacture of your car recommend?
