REVscene Reviews: 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF
As seen at the REVscene Spring meet the MX-5 RF is a fun car for all ages.
read the review ---> here<-----
Pros
-light, Agile, fun
-hardtop rigidity
Cons
-can be tight for taller drivers
-pricy
TL;DR
A no compromise Miata

very cool cars - my inner nerd loves the roof mechanism.
This spec is 45k + tax?
That should be listed as a CON I think. I know this isn't a driect FRS/86 competitor. - but it's not even in the same ballpark money wise.
I'd have a hard time stroking a 50k+ cheque for one of these. Count me in the group that looks forward to checking these out in the pre-owned market 5 years from now.

DAT GAP!
Took a short spin in one at the Mazda Test Drive event in Pitt Meadows a couple weeks ago and it's as sweet as expected. Would love to have a 3rd Miata in my life but saving for a Cayman now.

that's a valid point and I've added that. Pricing is a bit high for the car and it is more than frs/brz but it's as close as it can get in terms of what's available on the market. this tester was 40k all in with the sport package.

^^ - oh,that is closer. I just see the 40k car on Mazda.ca, and have to add the sport pack for another 5 ish.
Maybe it's worth a walk over to Morrey to get a real number. I'd like to see the roof in person too!
Regardless, great review.
