Car got keyed, how to possibly fix myself?
So some dumbass decided to key my parent's car. How could I fix this myself?
I watched some Youtube video of applying putty to level the scratch and then using a touchup pen to fill it in.
Or should I just pay the deductible? The car is only a month old..

A month old? I'd pay the deductible and get it fixed properly.

Well if u can feel it with your nails...2 choices :
- half ass ghetto touch up job
- ICBC vandalism claim and get it professionally done.

It's kind of hard to tell how deep the 3rd and 4th picture is.
The 2nd one that's black looks like it went right through to the plastic. Is that on the bumper?
Good thing is that the car is silver, so it's the easiest colour to hide blemishes. But even if you buff it out yourself, not sure how much that'll do. I'm not saying it'll look as good as new again, but if you buff it out, it MAY result in something that's somewhat acceptable of a repair.
But it might be easier to just pay deductible if you don't have the tools to compound and buff, and if DIY detailing isn't your thing.
