Anyone know where i can find a replacement VW sportwagen mirror ?
Some fucking asshole parked next to me and took out my mirror. Of course no note, and i wasnt able to catch the plate on dashcam (not hardwired in for parking mode )
I called VW and they want 120 bucks for this mirror. Anyone ever replaced just the mirror part and not the entire assembly? I was able to put the mirror back in and it still functions (tilts, lange change warning light still works, etc).
Oh and if any witnesses, please let me know (roughly 1100am today) i parked in the one circled in red.
The one thing missing on my Golf that I loved on my SAAB was the wide angle bit on the passenger wing mirror. Really helps with blind spots. The tiny mirrors on the Golf don't help and stick on convex mirrors take up too much space.
