and i go for knee surgery in december now instead od next summer.

I read a couple chapters from my "the economics of money, banking, and financial markets." Actually seems kind of interesting. I think I'm gonna get started on "economics of land use" today.

Last May when I was told I was gonna have to get my tonsils out, the wait list here was over a year, Kelowna was shorter and Surrey was even shorter so of course I opted for the shortest wait.
Why don't u check and see if Vancouver is shorter. Cause the sooner u get the sugery the sooner you'll be healed.

yay, went to the Barriere fall fair today. The rodeo is violent though! Sheep are cool.

hehehe...I had three people approach me in the last 24hrs wondering if my truck is a V8 one dude even gave me his phone # (he was there w/ his wife before you pervs get carried away) 'cuz he's doing an LT1 Jimmy and his brother has a 4banger SVO Turbo Mustang powered Ranger...one of my all time fave swaps. QUESTION: i just bought a new computer, and I like everything else about it, except the ad (which I have with me as well as the receipt) says plain and clear it is supposed to have a dvd burner, but it doesn't, so what types of legal leverage do I have with false adverstising on an item worth several hundred dollars? I want to go demand to have one put in for free because of the false adverstising, but I don't know if they'll just say return it and get a new one, which I don't want to do because school starts tuesday which means I'll have ABSOLUTELY no time to shop around for another one.
ANY help you guys can give would be great. Thanx!

my burner on my new computer says nothing about dvd, yet burns awesome onto dvd's.... kinda cool putting 4.7GB worth of songs on one disk.

yup, that's actually how i found out, i was trying to burn my system recovery disks, then I called compaq to make sure that that it wasn't something else, and they confirmed my system doesn't have a dvd burner

You have no legal reprecussion, but depending on the store and how much of a fuss you put up, they may give you a DVD burner just to keep you happy and prevent you from returning it.

so last nite about 1am we decide to fire up the BBQ. after all the burgers, smokies, weiners, steak and fillet mignon were gone the question arose "can you BBQ bacon?" which was answered with a "why not?" lets just say it was messy, but it was gooood
