If anyone hasn't anything to watch tonight 9pm channel 48 (speed channel) has a ferrari auction / documentary on some quite rare ferraris. Its also on at 9:30, good programming eh? Keep in mind its older ferraris, he talks about a 360 stradale thats the newest one.

having shot tens of thousands of frames with both Canons and Nikons (D70, D70s, Rebel XTi, 30D), it's a tough call choosing between them.
The D70/D70s's kit lenses blow the XT/XTi/30D kit lens out of the freaking water (though, the D40/50, which are priced closer to the Rebel XT come with absolute pieces of junk too)...I'd say the D70s has better controls than the XTi, but the 30D is just right in every way for me....I just wish it was more weatherproof (ie: something like Nikon's D200).

What the FUCK is wrong with people that talk on the phone in the library?? Shutup! fuck.. Those signs with the phone with the cross through them are there for a reason. The problem is that librarians aren't scary enough to enforce it. I used to hate it when ppl would talk on their cellies at the library (when I worked there)...but I LOVE it when ppl's phones ring in court (especially if it's some retarded ring tone...which it usually is) and a sheriff confiscates the phone lol...you're right, btw...if librarians looked more like sheriffs (and packed heat!) they'd be a lot more effective in curbing cellphone usage | |

I agree...I wasn't too impressed with the feel of the XTi after I used a D70s for about two years. Then I sold my XTi and bought a 30D and that feeling of handling a solid, well-built machine was back again...(until I messed around with my buddy's D2x and realized that even the 30D is a toy in the grand scheme of things )
You're right...it all comes down to small preferences...just about any DSLR you buy, you're going to have a decent machine...heck, sometimes I wish I went with the Pentax k10d...I heard that their lenses suck, which is too bad because that body is one of the most impressive/capable in its price range.
