30 seats isn't that much for a restaurant. If you have 4 seats per table, that is less than 10 tables for the entire place.

Can't wait to get some more pulled pork, it was absolutely amazing.

Tina Sanders Ok, this Saturday May 1st is the day! Soft opening - we are not announcing it anywhere but here and the mailing list. No alcohol yet as the liquor licence takes time and we will have the official grand opening once we get that. It's been a year so go easy on us - all new staff and I'm sure we are going to have some... kinks to work out!! We are open from 11am-9pm every day beginning May 1st. See you there!!

and your welcome

Also pics of the place would be nice.

Lunch menu is small right now but its only been open for 3 hrs, nice place not all to big. They have breakfest as well 7am-10am which is kinda cool. I got the ribs and the g/f got the pulled pork sandwich. Just waiting for the food and can't wait. And yes I took some crappy as pics of the menu with my phone.

Boonie was just saying how the next couple of months are going to be so rough for him. He's not used to doing breakfest so right now he's up at 5am and getting home at 11pm.

Nice, going before the Canucks game. I think I like the pulled pork even more then the ribs.

alright I just got back. It's in a whole lot better location now that's for sure. As said it's in the Quality Inn hotel basically the back of the Home Depot parking lot. I should of taken a pic but didn't think of it.

The restaurant is not all that big you can see the open kitchen when you first get in. You can tell there's going to be a nice patio in the summer which will be perfect. I didn't take a shot of all the tables since a bunch of other people were eating and I was too pussy

The father inlaw served me and laughed because I was his first customer and you can tell he never served a day in his life so far lol

Now onto the food, I got the Rib's which comes with your choice of a side and cornbread for $16.95.

I of course had really high expectations since it's boonies and the food at the curling rink was beyond unbelievable but sad to say I was highly disappointed. The ribs were not really tender and I was not feeling the sauce he used on it. The fries were very tasty but Boonie doesn't have the seasoning made up yet since he has been working 24/7 to get it up and running. The corn bread was straight up money, so so good. He even gave me 2 extra to bring home to eat later.

The g/f got the pulled pork sandwich with fries for $9.95.

Other then mustard being on the sandwich(which shes not a fan) she really liked it with the sauce they had but really not overly impressed.

Now this review being said don't really take it to heart. The menu's were not basicly made(photocopied for now) until 1030am and they have a whole lot more to do to get it top notch boonies we are used to. I would really give it a month rather then me going there 3hrs after being opened like I did and getting disappointed. Being a family business and everything being homemade it will take a bit to really get used to the new location and the different options that are on the menu.

Boonie even said that he has never done a breakfast before so on that side of things it's all new to him. He does have lots of plans tho and can't wait to go back when they have everything running smoothly
