I hated Pierce. Fucking asshole. The worst was during the Dungeons and Dragons episode. Fucking hated him so much. I know it's just TV, but he is seriously an asshole.

I loved Pierce in the first 2 seasons. His racist and sexist one-liners were actually laugh out loud funny. I felt his character was dumbed down in seasons 3 and 4, to the point where it was downright annoying. He only existed in the last 2 seasons so he could be ignored by the rest of the group.
Enjoyed the first two eps, enjoyed everyone that's back, appreciated how they mocked themselves regarding last season. But I still don't know if I want to continue watching this........can't put a finger on it, maybe they've been crap for too long, or perhaps in the back of my head I know NBC will find a way to fuck it up.
I think you mean the past few SEASONS of Community haven't been that good. I laughed my ass off for the first two seasons, enjoyed the third season, tolerated the fourth season, and haven't even bothered watching the fifth season. Just once they need to let a show go out on a high note.
Season 5 has been a hit or miss for me. Haven't been keeping up with it like I did with the first few seasons, but I got all caught up this weekend having finished finals.
I agree that the past 4 or 5 episodes haven't been very good, but I didn't think they were terrible either. Didn't care for the D&D, GI Jeff, and meowmeowbeenz episodes, but there were a few good moments aside from those ones.
