Not true. My dad works at ICBC head office (and has for the last 35 years) and was talking to me about this yesterday before it went on the news. It's in full swing, all they are waiting for is a subpoena from the federal govt. or something.

part of my actual job is to insure justice prevails and as long as they're not clients "ratting" sometimes is a must; i dont take any joy in the plight they'll face (as ive said i almost feel sorry for them) but what's right is what's right
dude i was joking......
but what? its your "actual job?"
How exactly are they going to apply that to "out of town" people coming from as far as the states?

fuck tieing up the courts, etc. etc. just fucking make them PAY damages, devistating people financially is wayyy harder on them then giving them a fucking week in jail or house arrest
make the guy who torched the cop car pay for it, make his family pay for it
you were part of rolling over a M5? well pay your share of the total-loss value to ICBC
the -only- way people are going to be scared of starting shit is to hit them in the wallet, owing 50k to the government for the next 15 years of your life hurts alot more than a month or even a couple months in jail.
Soo since someone/ some business experienced more damage from the riot means that he's not allowed to be upset that his car got straight fucked?? He deserves his 3 posts to fume. You on the other hand are wasting precious internet space with your useless comments.... GTFO goof!
"rs veteran" - hope that means you're retiring reeeeal soon
^ yeah I should update that. I'm in Yaletown now, 3 blocks down from Granville. My place is on the 32 floor meaning I got a wonderful view of all the carnage, watching out of towners fuck up the city. Every geographical area has its share of shit-heads, but game 7 brought all of them downtown, plus Canucks lost so everybody got smashed, plus the police presence was a joke. But It was bound to happen win or lose...legalize weed, everybody would have been way more chill

Others probably already did this but just in case it ended up being one of those "im sure someone else did" situations i made sure at least 1 person sent the info along
