Yeah we are going. If the roads are like this it will take us 6 hours to get there, lol.. Hopefully I'm gonna get to go home early tomorrow. We were really over staffed today (i spent the first 4 hours off the phones in training and leading training groups) and then said tomorrow looks the same way. I pray I will get sent home early tomorrow, lol...
I just sold my beast so now I have an extra hundred dollars to spend lol

Everyone pray that the roads are great for us tomorrow and coming back on Sunday.

It almost seems like we're not supposed to have this roadtrip, but who cares, lol, non-refundable hotel and much needed retail therapy, we're goin! That's weird that you were skidding, my car didn't kick out at all, and I was so nervous, if I had crashed my pretty new car, I would have gotten out and kicked my own ass. I'm bringing the digicam so we'll take lots of pics of all the shit we see driving down there . One of the girls at worked asked if we had chains I was like "umm, if I don't have snow tires by now. . . . ya, probably not hey. . ." lol. We'll get there, it'll just take a long time, and if something does happen we both have cells, I have BCAA, we'll bring blankets, and lots of food, lol, we're set for a camp out on the side of the Coq, hahaha. I'm sure the roads will be better by tomorrow anyways.

Yeah, but there wasn't suppose to be snow today from what I saw on the weather network. Yeah, I'll throw a blanket in the back for moi and u can bring one for u. Don't forget a pillow I think it will be fine but just incase it's always better to be prepared and not use it, than not bring anything and have the worst happen... I just don't wanna crash my car

Damn Canadian Tire was fucking like boxing day. The had a seat massager on sale for $19.99 ($50 off) and I was going to buy one for my stepdad so I figured why not get a good deal on it.

Thing was, this sale was at 6. I get there at 5:40 and there's a bunch of ppl in the middle of the isle lined up around where the seat massagers were so of course I get right in there. Everyone around me was going for that so I was like "oh shit, I'm not gonna get one " I was right up there so I figured I had a better chance. Then someone on my side decided to rip down the paper at 10 to 6 and we all started grabbing. Luckily I got one I'm stoked because he is so hard to shop for, and I know this is something he will like... He can use it in the truck when he's snowplowing and also use it in the house cause it has adapters for both.

you guys understand the coquahalla in the winter, especially in a winter storm thats blowing thru this weekend isnt going to be nice fluffy snow flakes on a nice winter drive in the mountain. when they say 'severe winter conditions' they mean severe winter conditions.

Did u not read my above post about driving the Coq 2 years ago. I know how bad the roads get. Why do u think we're bring 2 cell phones with us, and blankets and shit. Just incase

It would be a shame to not go. We both need to get out of this city, even if for only a day and do some therapy(SHOPPING )

what was with the weather channel anyways. i too saw no mention of snow last night. wake up today for work and its inches deep already. if i had known it was going to snow i would have woken up earlier so i could get to work on time. ended up 5 minutes late - sure glad there's a seat shortage again today.

also, from what i understand, you don't have winter tires for this trip. i wouldn't recommend taking the Coq without winters.

cell phones wont stop other assholes on the road from drivin into you tho.. nor will blankets, if you feel confident enough to drive then have at'ter.. just know that i highly doubt this many of us on here would be as concerned about you two going as we are, if we didnt think there were any risks... like danny says just use caution, your "combined" brain cells :P, common sense and you'll be fine... tho, if the weather keeps up.. winters might be a good investment

i pretty much hate every type R owner ive ever met except waylon. they all just crash them and street race them. and all seem too pussy to race them in any manner (the locals that is) not like some of those guys from ITRCA who road race they R's and all that. not waylons R however because his is put down for the winter like an responsible R owner should have. i bet that homo in the mugen decalled itr is out bombing the VTAK down harvey in the snow as i type all this
