1990 will have the F22a4 I believe, which is the 135HP SOHC engine. Swaps for these things are easy...F22B, F20, F23, H22, H23, all bolt in with minor wiring changes, hell with some of them you don't even have to change the ECU!

And for those that doubt the love people have for their Accords...here's an actual before and after shot...

fourtirefire 08-20-2003 02:09 PM

uhuh.. not having insurance papers would suck..., and also if the car was a write off thru icbc, it will probably have a salvage, or rebuilt title after it is repaired and will definitely need a MVI before it can be insured..

having a radio antenna is sweet, i can pick up vancouver radio stations now!

wow just walked into a spiderweb in my garage, that wasnt bad but then i saw a FAT black widow rip across some of the left over web and go into one of our toolboxes..

fuck and i just saw one the bottom of the tv a messege saying 1000 homes are being evacuated!

SpooSports 08-21-2003 11:13 PM

Sweeet. its so hard to pack up all your stuff u want to save from a fire.

My thoughts go out to Netfreak, Canadian RIder and SMokey The Bandit. They are all evacuated.

SpooSports 08-21-2003 11:54 PM

I WANNA GO TO SLEEP.

But i dont wanna be woken up by a fire

netfreak 08-22-2003 04:58 PM

Thanks. I'm lucky enough to have friends on vacation and they're letting my family stay at their place. I think i've got most of my important papers and equipment, though I am sad to say my POS honda accord still sits in the driveway.

fourtirefire 08-22-2003 05:37 PM

you might want to go buy some storage insurance for the accord with fire protection.. if you allready dont..

351rusty 08-22-2003 05:54 PM

spoo,..where are you at..or have you recieved evac shit already??

netfreak..you shoulda got that bad boy out..good to hear your out and got a place..

if neone knows of ppl that need a place to stay..i gotta travel trailer..can fit like 4-6 comfortably id think..full size bed in there..if ppl need it its here..just pm me

NEUF 08-22-2003 06:00 PM

iam on evac notice now and i need somewhere to keep my scirocco.. its uninsured so if it burns iam fucked

i was gonna tow it to work but i dont know if i can keep it there untill i can ask tomarrow morning and i kind of want to get it out of here tonight.. if anyone can offer me a place let me know on here or msn, neufeldjesse_@hotmail.com or call my cell 801-1350 jesse
thanks

netfreak 08-22-2003 06:12 PM

Yeah I tried to get a storage policy but they refused to put fire coverage on since I already had the evac alert. I probably could have driven it out but the evac order came while I was at work.

351rusty 08-22-2003 06:26 PM

NEUF..if you do need a place to store you car..just leave a pm..or i added you to msn... fozzi21..im on the westside..plenty of room

NEUF 08-22-2003 09:47 PM

yah i ended up towing it to work anyways..

SpooSports 08-22-2003 11:32 PM

My Tempo is chilling at home, if she burns then my house insurance covers it anyway:)

I feel so bad i left so much shit tho.

Im out at my girlfriends in ellison, apperantly were supposed to evac but were so far from EVERYTHING nothing is even close to us so were just chilling for a bit.

Im supposed to work at 8am tomorrrow as wlel.

JOKE, i hate fire!

Chandler 08-23-2003 11:14 AM

i heard the way house insurance works is a lot different then car insurance.
it goes by the amount of what it would cost to REPLACE what you lost, unlike with cars it goes by the value.
so if u have a 1984 Sony tv,.... and it gets torched, does it mean u get a brand new Sony tv then?

is that how it works?

Festus351 08-23-2003 12:36 PM

YAY! lol im home now!! got home yesterday.... i went on a bike trip with my dad down through montana, south dakota, north dakota, idaho, whyoming and shiz.... so much fun :) got a tatty too!! lol woot! anywho... lol yup!

Yup, that's how it goes. They give you something new that is equal to the quality of what you have it (when it was new). Because, if you lost an '84 sony tv, they obviously can't order in the same model for you. They just give you the 2003 tv of a near model. We had our house broken into a few years and they stole my dad's video camera that he bought in like 1989 (which was a very high quality camera when we bought it), we got this sweet top line model sony camera... the same thing went for our tv, regular camera, as well as several other things.

So yeah... you will get new version of everything that you had. It's atleast some kind of plus in the tragedy of losing your house.

Festus351 08-23-2003 10:00 PM
