This year nite moves sucks, and smells, and has changed owners twice in two months.

The mule it's the new place to go.... it's HUGE and gets packed nicely. They're also playing better music.

the blue mule is very nice inside. and its huge as hell. the only reason i didnt like it as much as i could have is the music. hiphop -> hiphop -> country -> rock -> top 40 -> country -> hip hop -> rock.
it was basically a dance 1 song at a time place.

Victoria has the best clubs I've been to. Vancouver is alright if you don't mind the occasional shooting. Kelowna has some nice clubs, but the people there are all stuck up, and its gonna be something like Vancouver before long. Kamloops has shit for clubs. Penticton is alright, but I've only been a few times. I had the most fun ever in Calgary, but I'm guessing that had a lot to do with it being stampede week.

vancouver has some really nice clubs with some awsome music. and theres so fuckin many.

hope to be going to victoria and vancouver soon.

If you want good music, and a decent club go to the element.... fucking awesome music. Mule is getting there, got a new dj and such. The old one was from sunfm.

I still don't like nite moves. Going there this friday so i'll see if it's changed since the new owner took over last week.

and as for gotcha's, its all little boys and sluts...so thats why i hate gotcha's...and i don't go to splashes MATT :P...i've been there once in a year...and thats because i was hanging out with people who didn't feel like partying with the prosti-tots at gotcha's....not to mention all the wanna be bar stars hanging in their sunglasses!!

amanda is just jealous cuz she hangs out with old people who are getting married and having kids.

Calgary has the best bars i have ever been to 10-fold, however ive never been to many vancouver clubs.

-Gotchas/Splashes got played out when i was 17/18.
-The ral is my home, only cuz we roll harsh VIP and know everyone in the bar, more of a social place for me to go hang out and drink than a bar.
-Flashies is justa nice chage, but its always way too packed and full of a ton of Mo's.

I went there 3 weeks ago and i left 20 minutes after i got in.. didnt even finish my beer.
EXACT same music as last year with a few new ones, all over played top chart hits, they may as well have turned on SUN FM for the Saturday night hot mix. Filled with a bunch of stuck up preteens and mooliac lookin choches wearing sunglasses(why... its dark out!?!)
for anyone who doesnt know what a mooliac is...A mooliac is someone that has their shirt done half way up showing off their chest with a huge gold chain(s) and slicked hair walking around thinking he gods gift to the earth.
I justprefer flashbacks better 'cause IMO its better than the rest of the bars here and i know more people there. The atmosphere is more upbeat and you dont have to worry about bumping into someone and having them try and take a swing at you because of their ego and they think their tough. yeah it is packed but its packed for a reason, everyone is there to have a good time and thats how its been everytime i go there. And splashes... that place just sucks. And the coral isnt too bad now and then.

bars got old, i don't even have fun there anymore..

if i'm gonna go for a drink i'll go to a restaurant/pub for some food too instead.

I totally agree. I like The Palace which is unfortunately closed now I think. I wanted to try Cowboys but Mark and the other guys I was with were wearing skate shoes :( . And I love how they play music on the sidewalks, I love everything about that city, lol. I would be terrified to go to a Vancouver club they seem dangerous.

nah...Van is like Vic...if you keep out of trouble (dealing drugs, most often) you can do just about anything anytime. Random violence is just about unheard of. (Unfortunately gang wanna-bees have been popping up and trying to prove their street toughness by having 12-20 of them beat up one or two people, but this year even that has stopped). I'm not huge (5'10, 170-ish lbs), but there isn't anywhere in town I'd be afraid to go anytime at all....
