How many of you SERIOUSLY want t volunteer for the Olympics?

I know I will sign up when the time comes (2008) - whether I get it is another story

i'd like to, but its so hard to plan ahead. i don't know where i'm gonna be/what i'm gonna be doing in seven years time. but if i'm still here in vancouver and all is well - then for sure, i'd volunteer

its going to be REALLY hard to get it, so even though you really want it; Whether the Olympic organizers want you or not is a different story.

I would.

Speaking of the topic of whether it's hard to get into voluteering at a large international sports event......I think it might not be as hard as you think.

I have a friend who volunteered at the games for the 2002 World Cup in Japan. She got to watch some games too.....hehe

there was another huge event like this, can't remember what.. but so many people wanted to volunteer, that the volunteers had to PAY...

why do you want to volunteer?
if it's because you just want to get in for free or have a good view, then okay at least you're being honest.
but there are a lot of people out there that say they want to volunteer for this "to do their part" or something which is bs, because these people are rarely the ones that volunteer their time elsewhere.
