i remember reading somewhere a while back on the 9 demons from japanese mythology. the 8th was supposed to be an 8 headed snake, named orochi..i dont really remember anymore as i probably read up on that nearly two years ago.

the orochi was one of the most famous monsters in japanese mythology
the god susano-wo defeated it and pulled the kusanagi sword (the one orochimaru uses in the series) out of its tail

rumours have it that the kakashi gaiden will be airing at episode 200..
lets hope so.
the fillers have been on for over a year

rumours just aren't good enough.
need confirmation.
i'm really surprised that these fillers haven't caused naruto to be cancelled in japan. fillers for a year wouldn't be tolerated for shows made in NA
